Lloyd Dean Junger, age 74, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at UAB Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Junger Family Farm with Brother Joe Sollers officiating. Burial will follow. Lloyd Dean Junger proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine and received numerous medals, including the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Dean was the patriarch of a loving family and instilled the love of the great outdoors in his son and grandson. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Cindy Junger, Fort Walton Beach, FL; a son, Jason Junger (Jennifer) Elba; grandson, Colten Junger and his fiancé, Madison Odom, Elba; great-granddaughter, Presley Junger; 2 brothers, Stanley Junger (Oveta) Fort Walton, FL; Shelton Junger (Angela) Crestview, AL; a sister, Jeanine Lynch (Tom) Atlanta, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.
