Loretta Jean Rorie

Loretta Jean Rorie’s beautiful soul left this earth on Friday, June 2, 2023. She was 60 years old. Ms. Rorie was known for being relentlessly optimistic and a good-hearted woman. She loved the beach, sunshine and shopping for antiques. She was a devoted mom and grandma, a rescuer of stray animals and she loved her family and friends to the fullest. Although she will be missed, her love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew her well. She was preceded in death by a daughter Angela Reaver. Survivors include her daughter, Katelyn Teckenbrock (John David), Temple Texas; three sons, J. R. Reaver (Chandra), Daleville, AL; Jacob Rorie (Jessica), Clarksville, TN; Justin Rorie, Daleville, AL; granddaughters Brittni, Harley Joy, and Salem; grandsons, Blake, Aden, and Samuel; two great-grandchildren, Oaklynn and Remi; parents, James & Geraldine Frye; sister, Bonnie Sue; two brothers, Jimmy Frye and Greg Frye; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the County Line Baptist Cemetery Fund, 1000 AL-92, Enterprise, AL 36330.
