Lowell B. Cantwell

Lowell B. Cantwell, age 82, of Elba, AL, passed away, Monday, February 5, 2018 at his home.                           Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 9, 2018 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Terry McCrummen and Rev. Kevin Krist officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Piney Grove Assembly of God, PO Box 391, Samson, AL 36477-0391.             Mr. Cantwell was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Cantwell.             Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Leoda Cantwell, Elba, AL; two daughters, Pamela Schlegel (Steve) Indianapolis, IN; Patty Gentry (Tommy) Opelika, AL; a son, Robert Cantwell, Elba, Al; six grandchildren, Mike Schlegel (Heather); Kristen Irwin (Andrew); Matthew Schlegel (Bethany); Daniel Gentry (Christi); Leah Gentry; Jonathan Gentry; four great-grandchildren.
