Luis Viera

Luis Viera, age 63, of New Brockton, AL, passed away, Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Medical Center Enterprise. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 24 years, Magda Ruiz Nunez, a daughter and son in Florida, two sisters and three grandchildren. Luis had a love for life, his “Volkys”, VW Bugs and Buses, his family and his dogs, Rosa, Chimi, Chuli and “Baby”. He loved his family in Puerto Rico and loved his many friends in Alabama that quickly became his second family. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his willingness to help people and share his love. Lastly, after serving for the U.S. Army he worked as a postman for the postal service until his retirement. Luis and Magda then moved to New Brockton in 2010 where they quickly gained many friends and created “The Mayberry Cruzers”.
