Margaret Collier

Margaret Collier, 89, of Enterprise, Alabama passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Westminster Memory Care, Lexington, South Carolina.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 28, 2025 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Bishop Craig Harnois officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

For over 50 years, Margaret owned and operated Merle Norman Cosmetics on Main Street in downtown Enterprise where she built lasting relationships with her customers. Her passion for beauty and cosmetics was matched only by her desire to provide exceptional service to everyone who walked through her doors.

Margaret was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her faith guided her principles and actions, influencing both her personal and professional life. Margaret’s commitment to her beliefs and her community will be fondly remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Jimmy Martin Collier.

Survivors includer her brothers and sisters-in-law, George Collier, Jr., formerly of Opp, AL; Jack Collier (Shirley), Dothan, AL; and a very special sister-in-law and caregiver, Gladys Rimer, Gilbert, SC. Her nieces and nephews are Jerry (Libby) Barnes and Doyle (Susan) Barnes of Opp, AL; Tamie Edwards and Denette Rimer of Gilbert, SC; Sherri (Tommy) Shirah, Tina Stringer, and Terri (Keith) Dovre of Dothan, AL and Dwight Collier of Pensacola, FL. Among these who will deeply feel the loss are her beloved lifelong friends, Mary Jane Pennell, Paula Bell, Chuck Uhrich, Tim Whitehead, and Ken Williams.
