Mary Elizabeth Adkison

Mary Elizabeth Adkison, age 79, of New Brockton, AL, passed away, Sunday, April 25, 2021 at UAB Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Michael Mynatt officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Wiregrass Area Food Bank. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Adkison, her parents, AW and Lois Wilson, brothers, Andy Wilson and John Wilson. Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Stuckey (Ricky); Sherrie Lindsey (Allan); a son, Steve Adkison (Elizabeth Wheat); grandchildren, Erin Stuckey; Caleb Stuckey (Aimee); Sheena Whitaker; Seth Whitaker (Brianna); Shelby Whitaker (Courtney); great-grandchildren, Piper Stuckey; RJ, Libby Kate and Luke Stuckey; Daniel Cruz, Abel and Samuel Whitaker; Harper Whitaker; a brother, Joe Wilson (Phyllis); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
