Melba Faye Herrington passed away Friday, August 4, 2023 at her home in Enterprise. She was 80. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Ali Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time. Mrs. Herrington was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Ernest Williams and Mary Elizabeth Williams; and a brother, John Robert Williams. Survivors include her daughter, Marie Peacock (Don), New Brockton, AL; 2 sons, Randy Herrington (Teresa), New Brockton, AL, Benji Herrington (Melissa), Elba, AL; the joys of her life, her grandsons, Allen Herrington, Taylor, AL, Kyle Peacock, Enterprise, AL, Rhett Peacock, Enterprise, AL, Tanner Herrington, Enterprise, AL, Conner Herrington, Elba, AL; her sweet great-grandson, Jack Herrington, Taylor, AL; her fur baby, Buster; and a sister Jean Waters, Dadeville, AL.
