Michele Lea Paek

Michele Lea Paek of Enterprise Alabama passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2025. She was 52 years old.

 Michele was one of 3 children to Brenda and David Ray. The only girl she was her mother’s princess and best friend. As a child, Michele loved to play the piano and always wanted to grow up and be a mother. Michele met her husband Tae while working together in 1994. They were married shortly after and have made a beautiful life together for almost 30 years. Michele’s dream of becoming a mother happened on September 10, 1996, when she had her son Matthew. There was no greater calling for her than being a mother. Matthew was her only child and he was her world. While Matthew was still young, Michele decided to go back to school to pursue her nursing degree. In May of 2004, she became an RN. As a nurse Michele wore many hats but her favorite was postpartum and Labor and Delivery. Michele loved helping women become mothers and welcoming Babies in the World. Michele gave her heart and soul to her patients. Whenever she had the chance she would cuddle the newborn babies. Michele cherished her family and her family loved her deeply. She was a beautiful, loving, caring, wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and daughter of God. Michele was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her Heavenly Father and her faith in Jesus Christ brought her joy and happiness. She was always thinking of other's needs before herself. She was a true example of Christ who will be greatly missed. 

 Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Harnois officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until service time. 

 She was preceded in death by her father David Ray; and Aunt Gaye Yount. 

 Survivors include her loving husband, Tae Paek, Enterprise, AL; son, Matthew Paek, Panama City FL; mother, Brenda Duque (Nelson), Enterprise, AL; two brothers, Michael Ray (Jacqueline), Panama City, FL; Britt Ray, Springhill, FL. Cousins, Jim, Paige, Ron, Amy and Jeremy.
