Msgt (Ret) John Bunnion Rackley, Jr.

MSGT (Ret) John Bunnion Rackley, Jr., of Enterprise, AL, went to his heavenly home after a hard fought battle with a sudden illness on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 at Medical Center Enterprise, at the age of 66. John was born in Ocala, FL to John Rackley and Nina Griffis on December 15th, 1955. John is survived by the love of this life, Theresa Rackley, Enterprise, AL; three daughters, Kimberly Morrow (Timmy), Loganville, GA, Kristina Holm (Martin), Denmark, Katherine White (Clarence), Enterprise, AL; three sisters, Regina Taylor (Barre), Palm Bay, FL, Roxie McDade, Pensacola, FL, Cynthia Rackley (Debbie) Merritt Island, FL; brother, Kevin Griffis (Misty), Granger, TX; His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his seven grandchildren, Anthony White, Reece Morrow, Riley Morrow, Aiden White, River Morrow, John Michael Holm, and Jacob Holm. John’s life will be mourned by the countless number of people his godly spirit has touched. John took great pride in his military career. He served the United States Air Force for 20 years. He continued to serve as a civilian for another 26 years until his passing. He was a faithful man who loved the lord, his family, church and community. His faith was an essential part of his life. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM CST, Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Mynatt officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 PM CST until service time. Interment will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery at 11:00 AM EST, Monday, January 31, 2022.
