Nancy Louise Hussey

Nancy Hussey, age 79, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Charles Jones officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Sis, as she was affectionately known to all her family, was a very loving and sensitive lady. She told the family she was the matriarch of the family, and what she said was the way it was going to be! All with a big smile and a loving heart. Mrs. Hussey was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, General Ray Hussey. Five brothers; Buck, Bill, Bud, Jerry, of Enterprise, AL; and Ed Sullivant, of Elba Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Hussey (Gil Fuentes), Enterprise, AL; Her beloved dog Molly Anne Hussey, Enterprise, AL; two sister-in-law’s Annie Sullivant, Enterprise, AL; Vonnie Sullivant, Elba, AL; Special friend and daughter Glenda “Rose” Scurlock.
