Mrs. Nell Whigham, 83, died Saturday May 23, 2020 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Graveside services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Enterprise City cemetery with Rev. Charles K. Jones and Clint Barley officiating and Searcy Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Two By Two Petting Zoo, 231 County Rd. 540, Enterprise, AL 36330. Mrs. Whigham was preceded in death by her parents, Ewell and Eula Mae Helms; husband, Eddie Whigham; sisters, Betty Banks and Katherine Hundley; daughter, Joan Elizabeth Britton Byrd. Survivors include son, Ed Whigham, Jr (Therisa); daughter, Stephanie Jones (Charles); brother, Gene Helms, Ft. Collins, CO; grandchildren, Jennifer Britton Whitford (Ray), Jay Britton, IV (Tracy), Erin Britton, Rachel B. Whigham, Hannah G. Whigham, Mallory J. Wood (Blake), Madison J. Adkison (Brandon), Carmen J. Henderson (Wally); great grandchildren, James Griffin Wood, Emmalyn Jane Wood, William Jeff Adkison, Weston Charles Adkison, Wyatt Edgar Adkison, Joshua Kade Woodham and Elijah Reid Woodham, Acklin Ray Whitford; also surviving several nieces and nephews.
