Patsy Jewell Billingsley

Patsy Jewell Billingsley was born on December 27, 1938 in Casey Township, Illinois and passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, in Enterprise, Alabama surrounded by loved ones. Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date in Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DaySpring Hospice, 100 Professional Lane, Enterprise, AL 36330. Patsy was a professional seamstress and owner of Illini Custom Sewing, Tailoring and Alterations in Champaign, Illinois. She did business with the Fighting Illini Football and Basketball teams and worked with the Chicago Bears in their off seasons. She created many wedding and prom dresses for hundreds of women from the Champaign area and assisted with wardrobes for the local news stations. Patsy was an artist with a keen eye for detail. She loved bowling and cooking with her daughters and grand-children. Patsy has four daughters, Yvette, Rhonda (Robbie), Chera (Mark) and Krista (Matthew). Yvette gave Patsy four grandchildren; Aleshia, Nathan (Cori), Brandon (Kendra) and Lauren. Rhonda gave her two; Steven (Jacqueline) and Jeremy (Joe). Chera gave her three; Trevor, Sierra and Dustin. Krista gave her four; Benjamin, Jesse, Joshua (Gabriella) and Noah. Patsy has 21 great grandchildren as well: Kaylee, Katelynn, Emmalee, Aubrey, Analeigh, Lydia, Sawyer, Pete, Francesca, James, Kayden, Maison, Scarlett, Raiden, Zyler, Avery, Leo, Addisyn, Madelyn, Joslyn, Jeremiah, and Josiah. Patsy also has a great great granddaughter, Kinsley Mae. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Ruth Juanita Warner, sisters and brothers; Ella, Rex, Mary Lee, Raymond, Paul, Rogene and Shirley. Her brother Russell (Lin) lives in Charleston, Illinois. Patsy was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Thank you for sharing in her journey.
