Paula Shera Eddins Greene

Paula Shera Eddins Greene of Santa Rosa Beach, FL (formerly of Daleville) passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at her home. She was 80. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 15, 2023 at Daleville Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Peters officiating. Paula was born on April 27, 1943 on the outskirts of Samson, AL where she was the youngest of seven siblings. She graduated from Geneva High School and later moved to Daleville, AL. In Daleville, she raised her two sons, was an active member of the community, and devoted her time at Daleville Baptist Church. While living in Daleville, she continued to further her education by obtaining her Associate in Applied Science Nursing, RN and received her certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse, both from George C. Wallace State Community College. From there she devoted the next 25 years of her life to hospice. She was a hospice nurse that her colleagues respected and admired and one that her patients trusted and adored. All the while, being a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Paula was preceded in death by her parents Harmon and Effie Eddins, five sisters Marie, Merline, Glennie Lanell, Velinda and Jimmie Nell, a brother, Horace, and her grandson Brandon. Survivors include her two sons, Kenneth Jay (Lisa), Arab, AL; Mark Jay (Rebecca), Dacula, GA; grandchildren, Brittany Armacost (Drew), Callie, Walker, Hunter, Hayden, Savannah, Haley, Austin, Brooke, Macy, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Lynlee, Maddox, Grayton, Palmer.
