Phillip Allen Fuller, age 73, of Daleville, AL, passed away, Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Flowers Hospital. Phil was born in Red Level, Alabama to Landers and Agnes Fuller and although he lived in a number of different states, he was a southern boy at heart. He was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force and then worked for the military as a civilian until he retired from Lyster Army Health Clinic in 2018. He was a lifelong story teller and avid reader and fulfilled his dream of opening a small bookstore in retirement. He loved fishing and sports – Roll Tide, Geaux Saints, Go Red Sox! Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Fuller, Daleville, AL; 2 daughters, Cassandra Hill Mathis (Kirk) Franklin, NC; Amy K. Watson, Sumter, SC; 1 son, Joshua Fuller, Washington, DC; 5 grandchildren, Sarah Copeland (Zack) Maryville, TN; Warren Brogdan Watson, Sumter, SC; Michael Mathis, NC, Johnathan Mathis, NC, Nathan Mathis, NC, sisters, Dawn Hullander (Phil Marsh) NC; Jenni Fuller, Columbus, GA; Janet Smallwood (Ron) Columbus, GA; special aunt, Lynne Tiller, Macon, GA; 4 nephews, Chris Mercer (Beth), Kyle Mercer, Jason Smallwood (Anne Marie), Lindsay Webb, Ryan Smallwood and many grand nieces and nephews. Services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Daleville, AL on Thursday, March 4th with the family receiving friends at 4:00 and the service at 5:00. Due to health concerns, masks will be required and will be available at the door. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to either the First United Methodist church in Daleville, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
