Priscilla was born in Thomasville, GA and moved to Andalusia, AL as a young child. Here she spent her childhood years. During herjunior year of high school, her family relocated to Enterprise. Priscilla graduated from Enterprise High School in 1957. She went on to attend the University of Alabama, where she graduated with her BS in the Science of Education. She was also a proud sister of the University of Alabama’s Nu Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha. After college, she spent a short time as a school librarian. She then met and married Mick Young, an Army Ranger. While her soldier was serving, she spent a great deal of time living in Monterey, CA where she developed a love for art and design. In 1973, Priscilla became a single mother and returned to her hometown of Enterprise. She chose a new professional path and entered the world of real estate. In this she would find her calling, working her way from the ground up to owning Brass Key Realty. She had an innate understanding of properties and of people. This led her to not only helping families buy and sell their homes, but also to developing three of her own homes, each with an aesthetic all their own. Priscilla was a lover of travel. Her travels began with an adventure with a dear friend, across Europe, fresh out of college in 1963 and continued when she married her true love, John Stacy, in 1989. She and John traveled the world, enjoying beautiful destinations and finally settling in Reno, NV around 1998. Pris and John enjoyed their time in the Reno/Tahoe area until John’s passing in 2012. This brought Priscilla back to Enterprise once again. After returning to Enterprise, Priscilla enjoyed her years close to her daughter, Anna, son-in-law, her grandchildren, her nephew and his family, and many dear friends. She loved her people well and was well loved by her people. Priscilla was the epitome of southern hospitality and charm. She was easy with a smile and enjoyed nothing more than delivering the perfectly placed one-liner or funny story. She was an avid lover of all things southern, from pearls, to Alabama football and she embodied southern grace and warmth.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, John Stacy; her parents, D. A. “Cat” and Willette Bundy O’Gwynn and a brother, David O’Gwynn.
