Richard Floyd Munns

Richard Floyd Munns, age 81, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Munns and Lyncie H. Munns, his son, Robert H. Munns, and his brother, Robert A. Munns. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Dorothy M. Munns of the home, his daughter, Pamela Munns Hutcheson (Doyle), Ariton, AL; seven grandchildren; Ryan Hutcheson (Haley), Christopher Hutcheson, Ethan and Austin Kennedy, Heather Munns Gonzalez (Byron), Holly and Luke Munns. Also three great grandchildren. Richard (Dick) was born in Wilmington, NC. He joined the US Navy in 1960 and served for 20 years. He met his wife while stationed in London, UK. After retiring he and his family moved to Bakersville, NC where they lived for the next 25 years. In 2003 he and his wife moved to Yulee, FL where they lived for 12 years before moving to Alabama. Dick loved being with his family and working in his yard. Dick was a member of Enterprise First United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
