Ronald Glen Thames

Ronald Glen Thames, of Red Level, AL, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Mizell Memorial Hospital. He was 68. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Wooten Chapel Assembly of God with Rev. Mike Medley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Ronald loved Alabama football, fishing and his granddaughters. He also loved people and liked to make everyone laugh. Ronald was preceded in death by his father Buddy Thames, mother Naomi Lecory and step-father Billy Lee Lecory. Survivors include his two sons, Tim Thames and Ezra Thames; brother, Darrell Thames, Graceville, FL; two sisters, Charlotte Slay (Kenn Spikes), DeFuniak Springs, FL; Cinnamon Driggers (Tab), Freeport, FL; brother-in-law, Jimmy Slay, Ponce de Leon, FL; granddaughters; very good friends, The Scroggins Family; special fur friend, Runt.
