Ronnie Lee Kennington

Ronnie Lee Kennington, age 68, of the Asbury Community, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 10, 2020 at Asbury Cemetery with Pastor Danny Sherrer officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Southern Care Hospice, 1253 Rucker Blvd., Suite A, Enterprise, AL 36330. Ronnie worked in the parts department at Parker Diesel in Enterprise, Dowling Truck and Tractor in Enterprise, Donnell Trucking in Bellwood and with PDS Truck Parts in Opp for several years. In his later years, he worked at Williams Auto Parts in Elba. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Winnie Mae Kennington. Survivors include his wife, Linda M. Kennington, Asbury Community; son, Kevin Kennington (Jeannie) Enterprise, AL; daughter, Renate’ Scheuermann (Grant) Quincy, IL; sister, Dorothy Crowell (Bobby) Enterprise, AL; 5 grandchildren, Kyle Kennington; Bailey Kennington; Amanda Moore (Tyler); Megan Scheuermann; Matthew Scheuermann; 2 great-grandchildren, Amelia Grace Moore; Benjamin Ray Moore; numerous nieces and nephews.
