Ronnie Strickland

Ronnie Strickland, of Enterprise, AL passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was 72. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Randall Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time. 

A proud member of the United States Army, Ronnie demonstrated his commitment to his country through his service. Following his military tenure, he embraced a fulfilling career in masonry, where his craftsmanship and expertise earned him respect in his community. Ronnie was also an active member of the American Legion. His passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for hunting, fishing, and gardening. Ronnie also cherished the time spent with family and friends. Ronnie was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Ray and two brothers Jimmy Strickland and Lloyd Strickland. 

Survivors include his daughter, Christie Mitchell (Adam), Enterprise, AL; son, Ron Strickland (Cyndee), Pueblo, CO; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
