Ross Rutledge Jones

Ross Rutledge Jones, age 54, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Monday, June 12, 2023 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Abundant Life Center of Hope with Pastor David Watson officiating. Ross served in the Marine Corp and later medically retired from the United States Army with 15 years of service. He was a true adventurer, a compassionate person who loved animals and meeting new people. He never met a stranger. Ross loved riding his Harley Davidson and had a passion for cross country off-roading on his Toyota FJ. He was also a Ham Radio enthusiast. He is preceded in death by his mother Ellen Carey Jones. Survivors include his wife, Desiree Jones, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Jessie Iona Jones, Enterprise, AL; three sons, Jonathon Stevens (Charlene), Fort Leonard Wood, MO; Gavin Dowling (Savanna), New Brockton, AL; Aaron Jones; seven grandchildren, Dayton, Alexis, Lilly, Zane, Preston, Hudson and Saylor; father, Melvin Riege; two sisters, Joy Vann, Rehobeth, AL; Melanie; brother, Rafe Jones.
