Sara Nell Meeks

Sara Nell Meeks of Enterprise, AL, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at her home. She was 87.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Asbury Methodist Church with Rev. Danny Sherrer officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2024. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Asbury Methodist Church Building Fund or Cemetery Fund.

Mrs. Meeks was preceded in death by her husband Hayward Meeks, and her parents Henry and Claudia Salter.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sherry Nell Meeks, Enterprise, AL; Donna Jo Bowden (Brett Blais), Clearwater Beach, FL; a son, Mikeal Hayward Meeks, Enterprise, AL; six grandchildren, Dana Kling (Jared), Brandon Bowden (Rachel), Ward Meeks, Courtney Meeks, Tanner Meeks, Krystal Blais; ten great-grandchildren, Ryan, Reese, Cooper, Chase, Brett, Whitney, Cameron, Everett James, Carson; three sisters-in-law, Ouida Meeks, Josephine Meeks, Syble Harrison; many beloved nieces and nephews.
