Shirley Maddox White Spurlin, age 80, of Enterprise, passed away, Monday, November 13, 2017 in Enterprise. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Slade Stinson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 9:30 A.M. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Lee Street Baptist Church Building Fund, Lee Street, Enterprise, AL 36330 Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Weldon and Mae Willis Maddox, an infant grandson, Isaac Kaleb White, her husband, Isaac Jesse (I.J.) White, her husband, Bill Spurlin and a son-in-law, Bancroft Cooper, a sister, Maylene Stamm, four brothers, James Monroe Maddox, Arthur Hayes Maddox, Enoch Maddox and Ray Hussey. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Cooper, Enterprise, AL; Deborah (Rick) Harrell, Gautier, MS; Sarah (David) Simmons, Gulfport, MS; sons, Dean (Teresa) White, Bella Vista, AR; Jeff White, New Brockton, AL; Mike (Diane) Spurlin, Kyle, TX; sister, Vera Kate Crozier, Hoopeston, IL; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and beloved members of the F.
