Spencer Hines Layton

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Spencer Hines Layton, 31, our beloved son, brother, father, family member and friend lost his life the morning of June 13th. Anyone who knew Spencer, even if only for a short time, has lost a true friend with the brightest smile and kindest heart. We know in our hearts that Spencer has been greeted in Heaven by his father, Bob Layton, paternal grandparents Robert & Dorothy Layton, maternal grandparents, James & Eva Nell Hines, and his cousins, Zachary and Stacy Gatlin. Spencer will be so missed by his precious children, Jaice Louis & Liam Warren Layton; his beautiful mother, Teresa L. Waters and step-father, Charles Alan Waters; his older brother, Paxton Layton (Marquita) and their children, Ava, Marley, and Della; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral arrangements have been made for Thursday, June 17, 2021. Visitation beginning at 1:30 with the service to begin at 3:00 P.M. at College Avenue Church of Christ.
