Terry devoted 38 years of his life to Alabama Power, where he loved and respected his crewmates. Alabama Power was more than a career to him, it was a brotherhood. Terry also served six years in the Alabama Army National Guard. Throughout his life, Terry embraced the joys of the outdoors, indulging in his passion for bass fishing. He took great pleasure in collecting arrowheads. Terry’s greatest joy, however, was found in the warmth of his family, particularly his grandsons. He enjoyed playing football at Enterprise High School and later enjoyed watching his grandsons play football and baseball. He was a devoted grandfather who cherished attending their ballgames, celebrating their accomplishments, and being an integral part of their lives leaving a legacy of integrity, honor, grit, toughness and determination. Terry taught his grandsons to never be satisfied and always be resilient and disciplined. Terry was described as a “Mountain of a Man” and a “Man’s Man”.
Terry Lee Tucker will be remembered not only for his contributions to his career but also for the love and devotion he demonstrated towards his family and friends. His legacy will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
