Vela Murl Danner

Vela Murl Danner of Ariton, AL passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Dale Medical Center in Ozark, AL. She was 71. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Vela lived a full life and was loved by everyone. Vela was preceded in death by two sisters, Willie Merle Smith and Annie Merle Wambles, and two brothers, Jerry Merle Davis and Ricky McDougal. Survivors include her daughter, Christina Danner (Barry Sutton), Pensacola, FL; son, Jonathan Danner (Patricia), Ariton, AL; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; sister, Flora Merle Harrell, Jack, AL; three brothers, Robert Merle Davis (Margaret), Brundidge, AL; Coley Merle Davis (Mary), Denver, CO; Alfred Merle Davis (Rita), Jack, AL; host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
