Virginia Lee Waters Fillenworth

Virginia Lee Waters Fillenworth, age 87, of Daleville, AL, having fought the good fight and finished her course, peacefully went to be with Jesus and is now in God’s care, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 15, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Level Plains with Rev. Kenny Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. until service time. Virginia was a full-time grandmother, “MeMe”, and a supportive military wife. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Dick Fillenworth, parents Dalton and Gladys Waters, grandson Ashton Hardy, brother Autry Waters, son in law Tommy Hardy. Survivors include her three daughters, Sherrie Hardy, Sheridan, AR; Cindy Davis (JC Jones), Enterprise, AL; Susanne Seaton (Chris), Enterprise, AL; two grandsons, Dusty Hardy (Dani), Sheridan, AR; Dylan Jones (Abby), Daleville, AL; two granddaughters, Katie Seaton (Jake Missi), Creston, IA; Joy Flowers, Collinsville, MS; three sisters, Mary Grantham (Lee), Daleville, AL; Robbie McDonald (Bill), Indian Trail, NC; Angi Brusse (Les), Enterprise, AL; three brothers, Tyrus Waters (Willene), Enterprise, AL; Wayne Waters, Daleville, AL; Jerry Waters (Faye), Enterprise, AL; five great-grandchildren.
