Virginia A. Nichols

Virginia A. Nichols, age 91, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her home.             Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17th at 2:00 P.M., at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Roger Richards and Bro. Phil Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 16th from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel.             She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Travis Eugene (Gene) Nichols, her parents, Alto and Dessie Hanson Abercrombie, sister, Lucille Trimm, brothers, Terrell and Shelby Abercrombie, son-in-law, Gilbert Ortiz, and a precious grandson, Travis Brunelle.             Her survivors are her daughters, Quail Miller (Ken); Penny Lapham; Wendy Goude, all of Enterprise; Darla Wise (Terry) FL; Leshia Ortiz, TX; grandchildren, Tara Birch (Andy); Tyler Brunelle (Ashley); Tate Lewis (Heather); Emily Weems (Josh); Adam Davis (Ashley); Justin Lewis; Uriah Ortiz (Sylvia); Haley Harris (Austin); Leta Knowlton (Trenten); Brittany Crook (Jeremy); grand-daughter-in-law, Renee Brunelle; great-grandchildren, Alexys; Kayla; Mia; David; Shelby; Madisen; Annah Grace; Ava Claire and a host of nieces and nephews, along with her best friend, Joyce Granberry.             The family would like to thank the most loving staff at DaySpring Hospice.   To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Virginia A.
