Wanda Thomas Beavers

Wanda Thomas Beavers of Elba, AL passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at her home. She was 58. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30AM until service time. Wanda was a loving grandmother and lifelong resident of Coffee County. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 20 years Jeffrey Mathews, mother Rosie Mathis Thomas and father Hubert Thomas. Survivors include her three sons, David Dean, Kingsland, GA; Jonathan Dean, Goodman, AL; Timothy Brookshire (Dorothy), Newton, AL; three grandchildren, Brandon, Isabella and Elliott; sister, Patricia Gayle Martin (Ronnie), Enterprise, AL; two brothers, Paul Leon Thomas, Goodman, AL; David Glenn Thomas (Connie), Opp, AL. numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
