William Wood

  William Wood, age 72, of Enterprise, AL, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Flowers Hospital.             Bill was born May 28, 1945 in Elmhurst, IL. Bill served in the US Air Force for four years then graduated from Colorado State University. Later, he enlisted in the US Army and retired after twenty additional years of service. He served during the Vietnam War and Gulf War.            Bill loved to travel, and lived in Germany, Greece, Korea, and all over the United States. He was patient and kind to all, and a loving father and husband.             Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 6, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Daleville with Rev. John McCullough and Rev. Lee Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 44 South Daleville Ave., Daleville, AL 36322.             Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marian Wood and a sister, Beth Wood.             Survivors include his wife, Julee Wood; two daughters, Saeah Wood; Samantha Wood; one son, Liam Wood, all of Enterprise, AL; a sister, Pat Poorman (Duane) Naples, FL.             To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of William Wood, please visit our flower store.
