Yvonne Boutwell Hughes of Chancellor, AL passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Southeast Health. She was 75. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Randall Pearson and Rev. Wayne Locklar officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Yvonne is preceded in death by a son Wade Hughes and a brother Rex Boutwell. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jerry Hughes; son, Raymund Hughes (Jeanynne), Chancellor, AL; two granddaughters, Lindsey DeMarco (Luke), Troy, AL; Breana Paulk (Jamie), Chancellor, AL; grandson, Hunter Hughes, Chancellor, AL; two great-granddaughters, Sara Goodson and Isabell Paulk; great-grandson, Grayson DeMarco; two sisters, Patsy Mathews (Charles), Elba, AL; Ann Holly (Rick), Basin, AL; two brothers, Virgil Boutwell, Dozier, AL; Dan Boutwell, Opp, AL; numerous extended family members.
